Indo Chinese Chef- Full-time Permanent

Position Overview

  We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic  Indo-Chinese Chef to lead our Indo-Chinese Dishes in our restaurant specializing in Chicken 65, Chilli Chicken and noodles. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Pan Asian cuisine, particularly in preparing authentic Hyderabadi dishes, and demonstrate exceptional leadership and organizational skills. They will oversee all kitchen operations, from marination to final preparation, ensuring every dish maintains our high standards for flavor, presentation, and cleanliness. A focus on kitchen hygiene, food safety, and consistency is essential for this role.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and execute a menu centered around authentic recipes, ensuring consistency in flavor and presentation.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and portioning. Regularly taste and inspect dishes to ensure they meet the restaurant’s expectations.
  • Source, manage, and inspect ingredients, particularly meats, spices, and other key components, ensuring freshness and compliance with health standards.
  • Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring clear communication and efficient workflow during peak hours.
  • Enforce rigorous hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, control food costs, and reduce waste through efficient kitchen operations and menu planning.
  • Create and maintain detailed recipes and preparation procedures to ensure consistency across all dishes.
  • Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure customer feedback is acted upon and continuous improvement in food quality and service is maintained.
  • Stay updated with current food trends and explore creative ways to enhance the menu while staying true to Hyderabadi culinary traditions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers for quality ingredients, negotiating contracts and pricing when necessary.

Train junior chefs and kitchen staff in preparing and maintaining the quality of biryani and other menu items, ensuring consistency across all shifts.

Qualification : Any hotel Management degree or Diploma will be a plus
Experience Required : 4 – 5 Years
Salary : £38,700 (Per Annum)
Other Benefits : 24 Days Holiday and yearly bonus
